This is a new pathway for women like you to get access to money for your business, project or idea.
The FundHerShip Grant Initiative was created specifically for women in the UK and Ireland who are of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latina or Middle Eastern heritage are starting things from scratch and finding that there is very little funding out there for us.
In the UK, we are a small percentage of the population, roughly around 5.6% of population of 69.3 million. That often means we are not fully seen or factored in when grants, programmes and funding systems are designed. On top of that, there are long-standing barriers that make it harder for us to access the money, networks and support we need.
This grant is one way of changing that. It is a practical step towards opening new, real pathways to money for women in the UK and Ireland who have been shut out for far too long.
